Eat more Curry

What topics do you think a bunch of scientists would enjoy talking during their leisure breaks -- Definitely, Science. They can pretty much relate anything they see and start a whole conversation in the biochemical mechanisms behind it. I went out to lunch with a bunch of them today. A year or two ago, I would find these lunches pretty boring. Today, yet, I did find it pretty informative and, to certain extent, entertaining. Is it a sign of moving up, or is it an early sign of becoming a nerd (Nooooo!!!)?

One of the dishes we ordered was curry. Someone started a discussion about how there is a compartive small population of Alzheimer's patients in India than the rest of the world. Since the major dietary staple in India is curry, researchers started studying about a chemical called Curcumin C3 Complex that's found presence in all types of yellow curry. This substance is proven to have the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cholesterol-lowering properties. It is a very promising treatment for Alzheimer's disease.

In other words, maybe it's a good idea to start consuming more curry because of simply:

"More Curry, Better Memory!"

Honey Bee,

Thanks you giving us ( schoolmates reunion ) idea of reunioning place tonight : an Idian cusine with famous curry dishes. So that, we get better memory of past happy schooling days 25 years ago. Thanks a lot.
