It's a very general question, but for certain reasons, I give a deep thought to it. I love arts, well not much for abstract arts, but drawings and designs always catch my eyes. More or less, I'm a visual person. Once in awhile, I would pick up a pencil and start drawing on my sketch book. I don't know if it can be called an innate talent, or it is a hobby developed after birth as I was sent to drawing lessons for several years when I was young.
I have always dreamed about being an interior designer. It's such a joke that I have picked a science major and established a career there. Being an interior designer needs to go to some art schools and how many parents would want their kids to attend art schools rather than a regular college. I wouldn't say I totally regret my decision because I know that it's definitely a lot easier for me to make a career switch from a researcher to an interior designer rather than the other way round. To make myself feel better, I think my creativity can apply as well to the scientific world.
Here're a few sketches I did awhile back. Bear that they are not drawn in scale simply because I'm not professional. This is an ice-cream cafe. I have always wanted to own a cafe with a theme just so that
1). I can try to be an interior designer
2). Hire a bunch of people to work for me
3). Earn money without much hard work
