Bastard, Bastard, Bastard!!!

I went into work today and realized it's a bad decision that I had not worked full time during the past week. Here's what happened that pissed me off and I had to spit it out here:

During the time that I wasn't around, someone had set me up to do a presentation without asking for my availability, nor obtaining my consent. I was only given a date and time in regards to the talk I am supposed to give in less than two weeks.

Excuse me?? Can somebody be a little more respectful and considerate? Other than the fact that I hate public speaking, I have a bunch of work back up on my desk which I need to get done in early Feb, though I have to admit that's a consequence from my self-procrastination. How the heck do I have time to set up a talk?! Still, I think this is a very rude way to set up everything before notifying the speaker.

Maybe I should ditch them all by calling in sick on that specific day ...

i know what you can do.... you can put together an okay presentation to show your work. then in the middle or at the end of the talk, pass the floor onto this someone, and so he has to stand up and finish. that way, you get the best of both ends, what do you think?

Honey Bee,

Deeply simpathetic on what you feel upon such bastard's bad deed. Just show your ability making the presentation as good as you can. Just say by the end of the presentation: " May I have your excuse with my such unperfect presentation, as I was known to have this errand from my boss in such an unacceptable hurry.Thank You." I & my family members heartfully support you. Cheer-up .
